Proverbs 24:16 For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises up again; But the wicked are overthrown by calamity.
This is not laying down a definite number of times a person can fall before they have went too far, but is teaching a completely different idea.
This Proverb says that a righteous person is determined to keep on the right track. To get up after falling and to keep trying when having failed.
We have this persistence because we have set our eyes on the goal, Jesus Christ. We know that we must continue and must keep moving.
With God as our strength nothing will be impossible for those who diligently seek Him.

Mmm soo true, because the righteous are pure and holy in Gods eyes so they have a never ending battle with Satan. But the unrighteous are ungodly and don't have to deal with Satan tormenting and causing confusion in their life.
